Coverage

SUS implements microfinance through 70 branch offices with 535 staff, covering 34 upazilas in 7 districts: Satkhira, Khulna, Jashore, Bagerhat, Narail, Magura and Jhenaidah.

Total group members: 74,626 (5,336 male, 69,290 female). Total savings: BDT 802,570,899. On-time recovery rate: 99.61%.

Group Formation & Savings

SUS organizes rural beneficiaries into homogeneous groups (average 20–30 members). Each group has a five-member executive committee. Weekly meetings cover social issues such as early marriage, dowry and women violence, alongside homestead gardening and livestock lessons. Currently 4,375 groups operate with PKSF and SF support.
